On Friday 30 June, St Christopher’s participated in Pyjama day in support of the St Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal. We are reminded to consider those people sleeping rough on the streets, without warm beds, blankets and pyjamas to keep them warm on very cold nights.
It was a great way for teachers and students to stay warm and cosy at school but also a symbol of our compassion and awareness of these people who need our help and assistance.
Students were asked to bring a gold coin donation, helping many people who are homeless this Winter – particularly women and children.
